Double-sided milling insert TN.. 16.., triangular for a maximum depth of cut of 10.0 mm, with 0.4 mm corner radius, and indexing accuracy according to ISO tolerance class G. Features FA geometry with sharp cutting edges, now enhanced with a BALINIT® MAYURA (ta-C DLC) coating from Oerlikon Balzers, specifically engineered for machining non-ferrous materials. This ultra-thin (~0.3 µm), high-hardness (>65 GPa) carbon-based coating provides:

• Extremely low friction (<0.10)
• Reduced material adhesion
• Maintained sharp cutting edges
• Significantly improved wear resistance and tool life

Suitable for machining non-ferrous materials including aluminum alloys (including high-Si content), copper, brass, and polymers, used with shoulder face mills STN16.
