Single-sided milling insert VC.. 22.. with chip-breakers, 35° rhomboid for a maximum depth of cut of 16.0 mm, with 3.0 mm corner radius, an indexing accuracy according to ISO-tolerance class-G and FA geometry with sharp cutting edges. Features FA geometry with sharp cutting edges, now enhanced with a BALDIA® NANO sp3 CVD diamond coating from Oerlikon Balzers, specifically engineered for machining highly abrasive and special materials. This ultra-thin (8+2 µm) coating provides:

• Extremely low friction (<0.10)
• Reduced material adhesion
• Maintained sharp cutting edges
• Significantly improved wear resistance and tool life

Suitable for machining non-ferrous materials including aluminum alloys (including high-Si content), copper, brass, and polymers, used with end mills SVC22C
